Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk visits Kharkiv Regional Psychological Service
On March 21, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk paid a working visit to the Kharkiv Regional Psychological Service.
The Kharkiv Regional Psychological Service was established as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program under the patronage of First Lady Olena Zelenska. It is a partnership of the First Lady's office, the Ministry of Reintegration, the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration and volunteers with financial support from the governments of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland and Finland.
Ms. Iryna Vereshchuk thanked everyone who contributed to the launch of this important project and called on all regions to launch psychosocial assistance projects in their regions. After all, psychosocial assistance is not only about the health and resilience of the nation. Sometimes timely and professional psychological help saves lives. Especially in times of trial like these.
The creation of the Kharkiv Regional Psychological Service was the result of cooperation between CO "Communities Revival", NGO "Barrier-Free", Kharkiv Regional Center for Social Services, and the Center for Security and Social Studies of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
